Gold has been one of my "go to" colors for as long as I can remember. Most of my jewelry is gold, and when a little sparkle is added, all the better! This is a very lightweight 12" wooden round which can be easily hung or set on a small tripod for a table display. In the middle lies an 8" aluminum insert from which I chose the surrounding hand-painted color pallet. Surrounding the edge of this piece is gold leaf, and I also added some to the center to tie it all together. The patterned design I've used combines whimsical shapes of different sizes but finds itself connected from within. The width of this wooden piece measures approximately 1/4 inch.
All paints used are acrylic.
