Bearded Iris

This piece is offered as a special request commissioned piece. This was a commissioned piece that has sold.  If interested, please reach out to me to discuss the details of what might be of interest to you. My mom's garden always included tons of irises in every color you could imagine.  It was her favorite flower, and it brought me great joy to create this piece for an older neighbor lady who shared the same love for this beautiful flower.  After settling on the background color, I used a hot glue gun to create the outlines for each flower.  I then carefully painted and shaded each crevice and outline.  The picture shown measures 24" x 32".  The final step included adding a high gloss sealant.
