Ephemeral Gold

In "Ephemeral Gold," I worked with washes of ochre and gray, allowing the pigments to mingle and interact on the paper.  The layering of these colors created a sense of depth and luminosity, evoking the feeling of a fleeting golden light.  The abstract forms suggest a landscape or a memory, hinting at something just beyond our grasp.  This piece is a meditation on the ephemeral, captured in the fluidity of watercolor.
