Luxury Old Fashion Shave Soap with bowl and brush

Ingredients: Stearic acid (octadecanoic acid), water (aqua), shea butter (butyrospermum parkII butter), potassium hydroxide, coconut oil (cocos nucifera), vegetable glycerin (glycerol), sodium hydroxide, castor oil (ricinus communis seed oil), hemp oil (Cannabis Sativa Seed oil), Kokum Butter (Garcinia Indica Seed Butter), Fragrance oil, Sugar (sucrose), Phenoxyethanol (and) Caprylyl Glycol, silk amino acids

Please do your own research.  I make no claims that you will experience any benefits to using the product.  This is information I have found based on research and the reasoning behind why I picked the ingredients to create a product.

Stearic Acid thickens and stabilizes the lather by binding the bubbles together.  It helps with the smooth close shave and softens the skin.

Shea butter may moisturize, protect, and soothe the skin. It may also reduce the possibility of razor burn.

Coconut oil creates the lather and lubricates the skin.

Vegetable Glycerin is a humectant that attracts moisture to the skin.  It may have some conditioning properties too.

Castor oil is a lather booster that helps to stabilize the lather and create larger thicker bubbles.  

Hemp oil provides excellent lubrication for smooth razor glide, moisturizes, reduces skin irritation, and is high in Omega-3 & 6 which is very beneficial.

Sugar is a lather booster and silk amino acid adds to the silky texture. 

Phenoxyethanol (and) Caprylyl Glycolis a preservative that is less than 1% of the recipe.  Shave soap comes in contact with water which means it has the potential to grow some nasty things.  Including the preservative is necessary.  If you want to special order a set with a batch of refill pucks that are fragrance-free and preservative-free that is an option.  I am not responsible if things end up growing in the soap after exposure to water.  I do respect individuals who wish to avoid fragrances and preservatives.

How to Use:

Place a bit of water into the bowl and use the brush to work up the lather.  Use the brush to apply the lather to your skin.  Then shave using your razor of choice.  Then rinse off any product that remains on the skin.

Shave Soap Care:  Try not to add more water than needed.  The soap needs to dry out between uses so please do not cover it.   The bowl is refillable with a shave refill puck. Permitting the soap to dry out between uses will help with longevity of the soap.
