A Moment of Stillness

The luminous quality of "A Moment of Stillness" was achieved through the use of transparent watercolor washes. By layering colors and allowing them to mingle, I sought to capture the subtle gradations of light and shadow in the night sky and its reflection. The soft textures and delicate details were created using a combination of wet-on-wet and dry brush techniques, adding depth and nuance to the scene.
