Celestial Dance

The fluid, organic forms in 'Celestial Dance' are born from the interplay of intention and chance inherent in the wet-on-wet watercolor technique.  Multiple washes, applied to damp paper, allow the colors to blend and flow in unpredictable yet beautiful ways.  While I guide the general direction and color palette, the specific interactions of the pigments create unique textures and patterns, mirroring the unpredictable nature of cosmic events.  Lifting colors becomes a crucial tool in this process, allowing me to refine edges, create highlights, and introduce a sense of light emerging from the depths of space.
